The XY-3B is a dual 12" 3-way bi-amp loudspeaker that delivers full-range sound from a unique hybrid design. With a 1" compression driver, 8" mid-range driver, and dual 12" low-mid drivers in a tour-ready 15mm birch cabinet, the XY-3B was built for the road and can be flown or ground-stacked using accessories sold separately.

The 1" and 8" drivers are arranged in a quasi-coaxial molded bi-horn design that time aligns them reducing cancellation around the crossover frequency. This design results in clear, intelligible mids and highs with no smearing. The waveguide's 50 x 35 (horizontal x vertical) dispersion range produces natural sound with high SPL in the targeted area while reducing the sound pressure outside that area.

The reflex dual 12-inch chamber produces tight, powerful low-mids that perfectly compliment the output of the molded bi-horn. The low-frequency drivers are coated with a water-resistant finish on both sides so you can use the XY-3 speakers outdoors. The XY-3B also features a passive bi-amp design with a rating of 400 watts and 1200 watts for the high and low frequencies respectively.
