Description

The smooth natural feel of an acoustic grand piano in a lightweight but elegant keyboard, the Nord Grand is a new approach to the stage piano series from Nord. The premium weighted keybed with advanced triple sensors is designed to capture the movements of hammer play with exceptional precision for a smooth, dynamic touch. Whether playing percussively or pianissimo, the well balanced and responsive triple sensor Kawai Responsive keybed provides extraordinary control with fluent repetitions and retriggering without lifting the key completely. An Ivory Touch surface gives the keybed an optimal feel and authenticity, while dedicated knobs and buttons control all essential functions required in a live performance situation to create Layers and Splits or adding effects on the fly. Nord Grand features seven Split points and Split Point Crossfades for smooth transitions between split zones, all indicated with LED lights. Advanced section samples—Piano, Sample Synth, and Effect—allow players to experience a wide range of professional quality Nord sample libraries for broadening their sound without loosing the Grand style.
