The Evolve 50M column system from Electro-Voice is designed to fill a room with EV's legendary clear, powerful sound and then easily condense for no-hassle transport.

With an integrated 1000 watt amplifier, eight 3.5" drivers, and a 12" woofer, the Evolve 50M produces clean, crisp highs, articulate midrange, and tight extended lows. With a max SPL (sound pressure level) of 127dB and wide, even coverage, the audience gets the full experience regardless of where they are in the room.

The "M" designation means the system come as with a fully-featured, fully configurable onboard eight-channel digital mixer. Featuring multiple inputs with professional-grade preamps and mix functions, the integrated mixer gives you the options you need. In addition to XLR/TRS, RCA, and 3.5mm inputs, the 50M is equipped with XLR mix and Aux mix outputs plus high-resolution, low-latency Bluetooth® streaming capability. A range of effects including chorus, delay, flange, and reverb on two FX channels, offer a myriad of options for musicians to fine-tune their tone.

Evolve 50M also marks the debut of Electro-Voice's QuickSmart Link technology. QuickSmart Link lets you combine a pair of Evolve 50Ms if you need more I/O or have a larger room to fill, making it possible to use the system with larger bands and in a wider variety of locations. The systems can be linked via a standard Ethernet cable to create an uncompressed digital audio connection. Both systems can be paired to and controlled by a single mobile device using the QuickSmart Mobile app, giving you full control over all audio, effects, and mix functions via your phone or tablet.

With a scaled-back load-in/load-out and teardown time, you'll be able to focus on more important things. Plus, the Evolve 50M results in a cleaner stage presentation by minimizing the need for external equipment such as a mixer and effects pedals.
