Eartec's UPCYB8 is an 8-Person UltraLITE System that uses a HUB Mini base working in concert with 8 UltraPAKs and 8 Cyber Lightweight Headsets. The HUB, a compact full duplex wireless repeater that weighs only 9 oz. is essentially a mini base station that can either be placed strategically “on location” or beltworn. When clipped comfortably to the users waste it moves seamlessly allowing a crew of up to 8 users to remain in constant full duplex voice contact.

The HUB includes two channels of communication affording separate groups of four users the ability to talk privately. Pressing the A/B channel combine button on the HUB face connects the talking patterns and links all UltraPAK in the system. As an added feature all HUB transceivers include a wired headset jack and can be utilized as an additional beltpack expanding the capacity of the system to a crew of nine all communicating in full duplex.

The UltraPAK™ is a new belt pack radio that can be integrated into Eartec’s full duplex wireless series. These compact digital transceivers have been introduced specifically for those users that need hands free voice communication and prefer traditional belt pack / headset configuration. The UltraPAK™ afford the flexibility of selecting between mid-weight and lightweight headsets whenever discreet communication is a requirement. UltraPAK™ transceivers weigh only 2.5 oz and feature an ergonomic design so they fit comfortably when belt worn. They include volume control adjustment and a mic mute button with LED indicator that illuminates when gain is set to standby. The field replaceable Lithium battery charges externally and operates for up to 6 hours in full duplex mode.

Rounding out this setup are the Cyber Lightweight headsets that are over ear headsets that fit comfortably, can be worn comfortably and feature a slender tension back-band for a unisex fit.
