I SERIES Compact 600 loudspeakers provide excellent acoustic performance, flexibility and elegant aesthetics for a diverse range of applications in today's performance venues. Designed to support the goals of systems integrators and consultants in need of very compact loudspeakers with exceptional near field fidelity for foreground or background music applications and articulate voice projection with very high output capabilities for fill and distributed applications. I SERIES Compact loudspeakers are engineered to be used alone or integrated into arrays along with I SERIES Point Source (IP) or Subwoofer (IS) models using the comprehensive selection of available BalancePoint™ Flyware modular array brackets.
The Community IC6-1082/26 is designed for maximum performance in a minimal size enclosure. The large, rotatable horn coupled to a 1.75" (44mm) diaphragm HF driver provides consistent directivity and smooth response through the critical voice band, then seamlessly integrates with the high output 8" LF through the crossover region. The precisely engineered low velocity, flared port ensures low distortion, extended LF performance at any output level. Additionally, 8 ohm or 70V/100V models expand application flexibility both indoors and out. Multiple attachment points provide compatibility with a variety of Community and third party mounting brackets.
The IC6-1082WR26 loudspeaker system is a two-way, full-range design incorporating one 8 in. (203mm) ferrite LF driver with an inherently weather resistant cone and one 1 in. (25mm) exit advanced polymer diaphragm, ferrite compression driver. The drivers are connected to an internal frequency dividing network with an acoustical crossover frequency of 1800 Hz. The modified trapezoidal loudspeaker enclosure is constructed of a thermally stabile, dense structural-grade composite embedded with dual layers of fiberglass cloth and is fitted with (7) M10 and (4) M8 rigging inserts. The enclosure has a dual-layer finish of heavy exterior-grade paint and a UV-resistant top coat. The front of the enclosure is fitted with a wraparound powder-coated 1.5mm perforated marine-grade aluminum grille backed with acoustically transparent woven fabric that has been treated with a hydrophobic compound. The secured input panel cover and gland nut provides a sealed connection for the internally connected 12 ft (3.6m) 14 gauge SJOW cable. The system has an operating range of 52 Hz to 19.5 kHz (-10dB SPL). The system has a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms, an input capability of 45V, produces a sound pressure level of 94 dB (averaged SPL between -10 dB points) on axis at one meter with a power input of 1 Watt, and is capable of producing a continuous output of 118 dB SPL (with peak output of 124 dB SPL) on axis at one meter. The nominal dispersion is 120° H x 60° V. The loudspeaker is 18.75 in. (476 mm) H x 10.40 in. (264 mm) W (front) x 7.69 in. (195 mm) W (rear) x 10.63 in. (270 mm) D, and weighs 19.2 lbs (8.7 kg).
