The 571 (571D/571C)) digital communication station is a programmable touchscreen device for initiating audio paging and messages with GLOBALCOM® Series Announcement Control Systems.

The 571 can be used with one of three mounting kits: the 571MK-DT for desktop use, the 571MK-S for surface mounting, and the 571MK-F for flush mounting. For pre-construction installations, the 571MK-MRH and 571MK-HRV mud ring brackets are used with the 571MK-F.

It comes with a handheld microphone equipped with a magnet and includes a removable steel plate that conceals the built-in microphone strain relief. An optional security screw can further restrict access to the removable steel plate and microphone connector. The 571 provides a redundant PoE connection and an optional 24/48V DC auxiliary power connection for non-PoE switches. The omnidirectional microphone element eliminates the proximity effect, ensuring clear sound quality, and an internal beeper guides users through the paging process.

Templates for the 571 can be easily created with GCK for paging, triggering prerecorded messages, audio routing, visual alerts, and intercom requests. Access can be restricted with a 4-digit PIN, and different templates can be displayed based on the PIN entered.

The 571 is also compatible with AtlasIED’s FAS (Flight Announcement System) GCK plugin, allowing it to load FAS template screens for boarding flights, checking flight status, updating flight status, and other flight-related messages. Access to flight templates can be restricted by gate, airline, and/or PIN login.
